Meet with John ZurSchmiede III and his experienced staff to choose the specific lot and finalize your choice of house plan. Open communication is vital at this point so the builder can accurately price your house. You will know exactly how much the build will cost and what is included in that final price.
Lot and House Plan: What area or subdivision you want to live? What house plan best fits your lifestyle. Do you have specific needs or wants? Make notes because, things that seem to be “minor changes” to you, can be costly or time consuming and therefore affect the timeline and/or cost of your build.
Take your house plan and builder’s bid to your Financial Institution for final approval. Now’s the time toget your construction loan.
Financing: Before you start anything, you will want to talk to your bank or a mortgage company to determine how much money* is available to you to build your home. Getting a letter of approval from your finance company at this time will facilitate the process. *This information, will help direct your decision as to where and what size home you will build.

As the foundation is being completed, it’s now time for you to make it personal! Your selections of brick color, siding/outside trim color, door styles (inside & out), window style & color, inside wall & trim paint color, tile/vinyl, kitchen cabinet style & color, countertop color, and bathroom marble sink color, etc…will turn the house into ‘YOUR HOME’.
Prior to closing you will do a ‘walk-through’ inspection of your new home. Close, move-in and enjoy!
